I'm Linda, a UK designer and illustrator working under the name of
Paintlovestudio. With a background in Surface Pattern I've been
lucky enough to design for greetings cards, childrenswear,
stationery, fabrics, books and home decor. All designs are illustrated
in my little home studio. Each design starts off with a (very rough)
sketch idea, which is then created with a combination of collage,
painting and Photoshop. I love to work with painterly textures and
enjoy experimenting with mark making which I incorporate into my
digital designs. I love animals and they feature a lot in my work,
they're my favourite thing by far to illustrate! I live with my three children and our rescue cat and dog.
